At the Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health building, University of Missouri investigators are tackling some of the biggest health challenges facing Missourians. That includes eight of the state’s top 10 causes of mortality: heart disease, cancer, chronic lower respiratory disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, kidney disease and influenza/pneumonia.
